My name is Nathaniel and I am a full time blogger and social media strategist who specializes in marketing with sites like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Digg, Linkedin and more. I have a passion for writing and helping people. I have been using social media for nearly a decade and by far my favorite part about it is the ability to form mutually benefiting relationships with anyone anywhere.
From Hobby to Profession
What began as a fun project and side hobby of filling out surveys online for money, turned into a full time passion of blogging. Making money online has always fascinated me and throughout the past 3 years I have taken part in every type of money making system. I have made money with every type of multi-level-marketing company to direct sales and all forms of GPT.
But through the ups and downs every entrepreneur goes through I found my passions. I divorced myself from the wretched roller coaster that is the MLM industry and settled down with my true love, blogging.
Blogging just stuck with me ever since I first picked it up. I started with a blog from Blogger.com, I then moved on to a free Wordpress.com blog until I finally grabbed a self hosted blog from Wordpress.org. CreateWithNate is a self hosted Wordpress blog.
The Idea Behind CreateWithNate
I started CreateWithNate based on a concept I have that goes a little something like, “In order to get everything you want in life, you need to first help enough people get what they want.” And when it comes to making money online, this statement is incredibly true.
Therefore at CreateWithNate my goal is to help as many people as possible reach their goals online. This is a help blog; and there are no opt-in forms, no membership fees and no where for you to enter your credit card info to access my wealth of knowledge.
My Areas of Expertise
- Blogging: Everything from how to get started with blogging – [choosing a blog topic, buying a domain name, how to set up hosting, installing Wordpress] – to advanced topics – [retaining traffic, building a community, creating an interactive experience for readers]. Specialties mainly revolve around the use of Wordpress.
- Social Networking: You name it I am on it – I love social networking and social media in general. In addition to Twitter I also cover Facebook, YouTube, Digg, Linkedin, BetterNetworker, as well as a variety of social bookmarking sites.
- Video Blogging: One of my favorite aspects about blogging is video. Check out my Vlog section to learn how to start your own Vlog, find tips on how to make better videos or just insight on the above topics in multi-media format.
- Affiliate Marketing: Hey we have to make money somehow right? Aside from ads on my blog I make the vast majority of my money with affiliate products. I suppose I could work on changing that bottom ad but that is my best earning one! I have found that the size and shape of that ad works best for clicks.

Like it Nate, maybe a contact form for social media business consultation / blog advice form? Alternatively links to a form on another page?
I don’t know what it’s like where you are Nate but in London social media consultancy and creating social blogs is a very well paid job if you’re in with the right companies. Just an example: My friend knew a small web design team that created a social website/blog for a Channel 4 TV show in the UK. The budget was £400,000 (ridiculous I know) which isn’t that far off a $1 million dollars; just to put things into perspective… You never know who might look at your website.

This is an excellent introduction to createwithnate.com, although a little light on insight into the Nathaniel mindset. This website is much more than the common, garden variety of blog – it is truly a valuable resource with broad appeal. From the twitter tips that saved me a ton of time and much egg on my face to the reviews of useful products and services, I find myself checking back regularly.
And thanks for ads. Seriously. Quality content combined with Adsense’ magic algorithms, plus your own affiliate links, have delivered to me THE BEST TOOLS I could’ve wished for.

@Max – I was just about to throw in some links to a contact form and my social media icons – the more we interact the more I realize how similar our mindsets are!
As for social media blogs – I know right? Companies are paying big bucks right now to develop their social media presence. I mean it’s a huge marketing trend right now.
Maybe one day we’ll team up and conquer the social media world.

I am a blogger myself, albeit recreational, however I have taken a recent interest in video blogging and I hope to grab a following of viewers somehow so I am looking for some advice myself.
