Why? Simply, you’ll end up being bombarded with spam and business pitches that may seem to satisfy your needs at first but quickly reveal themselves to be pre-fabricated and biased content that ultimately just want your email, credit card info or both.

Money changes hands continuously online in the same ways it did over 150 years ago. Just like during the Gold Rush; it takes the right tools, the right know how, the right timing and the right positioning to grab your piece of the pie.

The proper mindset is essential to your success. Next, being able to sift through the bullshit out there and find what works for you and what doesn’t is needed. Too many people spend too much time on things that priduce no results and do not understand why they aren’t seeing any money.

When it comes to starting a new blog a lot of people make the same mistakes. Do not get caught up in the looks of your blog and remember that posting quality content should be your main concern.

If it was one thing I loved it was waking up in the morning to check your downline and count how many new members you’ve signed up. I loved the MLM industry. My first MLM showed me tremendous success, for which I am grateful for since around %99 of people lose money in their first MLM.

A dirty and cluttered blog will simply distract the viewer from your content. Your sidebar is the number one culpret for clutter and garbage. Bloggers will often times enthusiastically fill their sidebar up in an attempt to make their blog look full – realize that a messy blog equates to a messy user experience. So clean your blog! Cleaning it takes no time at all and can make all the difference in the world.

Twitter is an amazing tool that when used properly can produce crazy results. An intriguing Tweet that gets replies and retweets will show you exposure and traffic like you never thought possible. This is a diagram that breaks down the process that happens when a good tweet is sent out.

It makes me sick when I look at the amount of ignorance floating around in today’s US society. Why is it that so many Americans can’t name more than five European countries? Why is it that the majority of US citizens know relatively nothing about the violent and ironic history that is the founding of our nation?

I can comfortably say that almost everyone starts out the same way when they join their first company (be it MLM, affiliate or network marketing). Everyone is filled with that new enthusiasm, then something happens….

It doesn’t matter what you’re into; MLM, direct sales, affiliate marketing, monetizing blogs or even making money with social networking. Whatever it is, your success is going to directly depend on your mindset going into it.

You may be tempted to go out and start following as many people as you can in an effort to get them to follow you back. Before you do this there are a two major things you should know.

No overnight cash gifting scams here, just simple persistence coupled with the proper mindset produced awesome results. Sifting through a lot of hype, cliche advertising and general bullshit (and there is a lot of it floating around in online systems) was the only way I was able to make that money.

The chance of failure is always there. We are always one step away from losing total control over what we do. To think that any of us are in total control of our lives is not only ignorant but arrogant as well. However we like to think like this, we like to pretend everything is in perfect control and that unwanted situations can always be avoided. This is what scares us most about failure.

When we actually make the first step to really invest (whether it be money or time) in something new, we are launched out of our comfort zone and into a new realm. Our human nature takes over and we begin to form a new comfort zone…

I was captivated by the video he made promoting his business but was not about to spend a penny investing in anything (I had about $34 in my bank account total). But I just could not get that video out of my head. I looked over the system and thought to myself, “I can do this…”

We cannot do everything alone, this is a fact. This is how most people get discouraged when trying to start a home based busienss, we forget that life is not a one way street. Ever have someone message you directly promoting their business? These messages might as well be faceless billboards. The people sending this message are infected with this virus of neglect and are walking down a one way street…

What’s the problem? Think about it. If you join a hypothetical company that basically advertises you do not need to recruit, you will be heading into a dead end. Regardless of what business you are trying to build it is a fact that aggressive marketing is needed to see any results. Obvious right? Not very…
