TweetSpinner: Awesome Twitter Tool
When it comes to managing your Twitter account there are a few, major tedious tasks we all have to do and that we all are trying to find ways to make easier. These tasks include (but are not limited to):
- Following people based on targeted interests
- Un-following people who don’t follow us back
- Following people who are currently following us
- Tweeting on a scheduled basis
- Managing more than one Twitter account
- Filtering our income messages and content
In the past I had recommended a number of different sites to cover each of these tasks.
I had recommended Twollo when it came to following people based on specific interests revolving around keyword phrases. However Twollo changed ownership and started charging more for less services.
Twitter Karma and Huitter were my top picks for following and un-following necessary people (purging your account). But Huitter went down due to people getting suspended and Twitter Karma has a hard time working for people with accounts greater than 10,000 followers.
When it came to Tweeting on a regular basis SocialOomp (formerly Tweetlater) had always been my favorite. However you could never schedule recurring tweets unless you paid their steep membership fees. And as a free member you were left doing a lot of the work. You also had to pay in order to manage multiple accounts at one.
TweetSpinner to the Rescue
The beauty of TweetSpinner is that it handles all of the above tasks very easily and for the most part, for free! Not only is it going to address all of the above needs but it does so in a way unmatched. I have yet to come across another site that has all of these features laid out so beautifully and so easily.
Manage Your Inbox
Your inbox on Twitter is incredibly hard to keep clean. And as you get more followers the task of keeping it tidy gets exponentially harder. Well now you can automatically choose to archive messages after X amount of days and use their filters to stop spam from coming in all together. Now you can finally get those long lost messages from friends!
Manage your Followers
This feature is one of the main reasons why TweetSpinner is awesome. Not only can you un-follow people not following you as well as follow those who are following you, but it has keyword following just like Twollo – except you get this feature for free.
On top of this you can add as many keyword phrases as you like and run them as often as you like. It also has a safety feature which prevents you from following or un-following too many people at once, which protects you from being suspended.
Awesome Tweet Feature
TweetSpinner allows you to schedule tweets at any interval you like. On top of this, features that SocialOomph charge you for such as recurring tweets and dynamic tweets (tweets that alternate text) are free with TweetSpinner.
For example you can add 10 different tweets and have them post at 2 hour intervals. Additionally if you add a tweet such as: How is everyone doing [today|this afternoon|tonight]? – then it will rotate your tweet to say; How is everyone doing today?, How is everyone doing this afternoon?, How is everyone doing tonight? – Which is incredibly valuable and helps you from getting slammed for duplicate tweets.
Direct Messaging
Everyone knows the auto message feature, allowing you to send messages to new followers. TweetSpinner takes this to the next level allowing for fully customizable direct messages with rotatable text, scheduling messages and much more. On top of this, making them one of my favorite sites, they have strict anti-spam rules to ensure you don’t come on here and use the direct messaging feature to barrage business pitches to everyone
.
Profile Rotator
Ever wish you could have more than one image for your background? Ever wish you could use more than one bio or have more than one link on your profile? Well now you can, with their profile manager you can rotate between any number of different background images, bios and URLs.
Membership Levels
Yes TweetSpinner is free, however there are different levels of membership ranging from basic, advanced and pro. Currently I am using the basic membership but I plan on upgrading to pro soon.
All of the above features are available to free members. The difference for advanced and pro memberships include the following:
- Automatically schedule you follower purging and following.
- View the reciprocity of your keyword following.
- Mimic following, allowing you view the overlap in your followers’ followers and friends’ friends. It shows you the percentage overlap, and, with the help of sophisticated filers to further refine your target audience.
- Location filtering allowing you to follow people specified to your geographical location.
- Much more!
Conclusions:
TweetSpinner has to be the most valuable, useful and awesome site out there for Twitter marketers. It is far superior to every other site I have recommended out there simply because it does everything that the other sites do, and it does them with style.
You should go to TweetSpinner now and create an account for a number of reasons. One of them being this site is fairly new and as new sites like this gain popularity they often up their membership fees and limit the feature for free members. Now, whether or not TweetSpinner does this in the near future is unknown as of now but regardless they are worth checking out!
On top of this they offer an affiliate program for their Pro members which pays out %40 for every sign up.

Nice one Nate – You seem to have all the bases covered here – After speaking to the creator Peter, he is constantly improving the service therefore constantly adding more value. (They only released the auto-DM and DM spins late last year can you believe which was almost a year after TweetLater at the time). The Follower manager is definitely my favourite tool and I love the reciprocity charts because it shows the effectiveness of your keywords.
I’ve been a pro member and proud affiliate for quite sometime now and recommend the service to everyone. The only people that have stopped using Tweetspinner are those that don’t spend enough time learning it or just get it for the sake of getting ‘more followers’ rather than using their tools to get ‘quality followers’. The Pro membership seemed to fluctuate a bit – (In the past they raised it to $18/month). It has now dropped back to $15, which is my subscription. I’ll be posting some of my experiences with the program very soon, so I’ll keep you tweeted!

Hey Nate,
I’m actually using basic right now and it really is a great tool.
You’ve become quite the pro at quickly evaluating social media and marketing add-ons and breaking them down for the time-poor such as myself. Can’t wait for the video how-to guide
Hey thanks Greg as usual for your comments and support. TwieetSpinner is really an awesome tool that I found – and you know I think I just might make a howto video on it!
Max the follower manager is also my favorite – probably the main reason why I love this site. Wow so you’re already a pro member huh? I’ll be sure to shoot you an email before I sign up for a membership so you can get a commission! Do you know if the commission you get is recurring each month or if you just get some for the initial sign up?
Hey Nate,
This sounds like a cool tool. You’re always on top of your stuff…

Thanks Brian – it’s probably one of the most useful tools I have ever come across for Twitter.
This looks like a nice tool. But i disagree in your reasoning when it comes to following people. I never follow people just to return a favor. That defeats the purpose of Twitter. You want to follow me because I have something to offer to you – great. But don’t expect me to follow you back, unless of course, I can benefit from your tweets too. I get followers that i do not know and who we have nothing in common, but I never follow them back. If they want to unfollow me because of that, I really don’t care, they are typically not my target audience anyway.
PS: You should change the TweetSpinner picture on the front page. It is very pixalated and makes otherwise interesting tool look bit amateurish.
Yep I agree with you there Pavol, but I have learned you can’t stick to one concept throughout your Twitter life. I don’t follow people just to follow them back – but I will occasionaly “return the favor” to those that follow me and send some sort of message, email, question, request or anything of value that I believes brings something to the table.
The reasoning behind this is because some people simply won’t talk to you or interact further if you don’t follow them back and I am always trying to meet new people. I have met a number of business and blogging partners through Twitter and following back or returning the favor has been a huge factor.
Thank you for your input – Nathaniel
